--- Poetic devices used (alliteration, onomatopoeia, simile, metaphor, assonance, imagery, symbolism, hyperbole, etc.)

--- Explanation of the rhyme scheme

--- Historical Context, if applicable

--- Explanation of the theme

Creative lay out including pictures and/or graphics relating to the poems and correct MLA citation (See below)

Completed and posted on site by 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 8th.

Memorization of one of your poet's poems- minimum 14 lines (see me if you have questions about this)

-- volume- loud enough to be heard by the entire class
-- fluency- the words and phrasing are flowing and correct
-- inflexion of voice evident (not reading in a monotone, not boring)
-- creative presentation (have some sort of visual evidence of theme)
Turn in all research notes!!!
